No one enjoys tests — especially the ones we didn’t see coming.
Like the D.A.R.E. story, sometimes God allows “pop quizzes” in life not to make us fail, but to reveal what’s inside. Tests are not punishments — they’re preparation.
Joy doesn’t come from the trial itself, but from knowing that God is using it to refine us, purify us, and make us more like Jesus. The test shows us what we know… and where we need to grow.
Personal Challenge:
What current trial could be an opportunity for growth rather than defeat? Write down one area where God may be testing your endurance — and choose joy by trusting His purpose.
Prayer:
“Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy.”
