Scattered but Still Seen

Week 2 Day 1

Scripture:

“I am writing to the ‘twelve tribes’—Jewish believers scattered abroad. Greetings!”
— James 1:1 (NLT)

Reflection:
James opens his letter to the scattered — believers who were displaced, persecuted, and far from home. Yet, even in their scattering, they were still seen by God.
We often feel like our struggles or separations mean we’ve been forgotten. But scattering doesn’t mean separation from God — it’s often His way of spreading His people for a greater purpose.

What feels like chaos in your life might actually be the context God is using to expand His Kingdom through you.

Personal Challenge:
Think about a time when life scattered your plans. How did God use that moment for His glory? Write one way you’ve seen His faithfulness even in confusion or transition.

Prayer:

Lord, thank You that even when I feel scattered or displaced, You are near. Help me trust that You are working all things for good, even when I can’t see the plan. Amen.
