Making It Easy for Others to Come to Jesus

Week 1 Day 4

Scripture:

“And so my judgment is that we should not make it difficult for the Gentiles who are turning to God.” — Acts 15:19 (NLT)

Reflection:

James’ leadership in the Jerusalem church shaped the mission of Christianity: the gospel must not be made difficult. He recognized that the message of Jesus was for all people, for all time.
Too often, churches or believers create barriers to grace — adding rules, preferences, or expectations. But James reminds us: our job is to remove obstacles, not build them.

Personal Challenge:
Ask: Do my words, actions, or attitudes make it easier or harder for others to come to Jesus?
Pray for one person who needs grace today — and ask God to show you how to love them toward Him.

Prayer:

Father, forgive me for times I’ve made faith harder than it needs to be. Help me be a bridge, not a barrier, to Your love. Amen.
